Why ByteLoader
Built around a few things done well.
A free Apple ID is enough
No paid Apple Developer membership. ByteLoader creates the certificate, app IDs and provisioning profile from a normal Apple ID.
No jailbreak
Works with a stock iPhone or iPad on iOS 16 or later. Nothing about the device changes except the apps you install.
The IPA never leaves your PC
Signing happens on your Windows machine. Your password goes only to Apple, and the app collects no data at all.
Knows when apps expire
Free Apple ID signatures last 7 days. ByteLoader shows the exact expiry and a countdown for every app it installed.
How it works
Up and running in four steps.
- 01
Connect over USB
Plug the iPhone or iPad into your Windows PC and tap Trust This Computer. ByteLoader lists the device.
- 02
Sign in with your Apple ID
Enter your Apple ID and the two-factor code from a trusted device. A free Apple ID works.
- 03
Drop the IPA and install
Drag the .ipa onto the window and press Install on device. Signing takes about half a minute.
- 04
Turn on Developer Mode and trust
On iOS 16 and later, enable Developer Mode and trust the certificate in Settings. The ByteLoader guide covers both.
